Elk Grove Man Arrested, Charged in Drive-by BB Gun Shooting

An Elk Grove man was arrested after he allegedly used a BB gun in a drive-by shooting.

On the afternoon of Sunday, March 5, Skyler MacLennan, 18, drove his vehicle on Laguna Park Drive and Rancho Laguna Drive along side his victims who were walking. MacLennan then allegedly fired several BB's with one of the victim's sustaining visible injuries to their back.

Through investigative efforts, Elk Grove Police contacted MacLennan at another location and detained. A search of his vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of the BB gun used during the assault. 

MacLennan was arrested and booked into the county jail where he has been released on bail.
