Elk Grove Police Release Pictures of Suspect Wanted in Bank Robbery

Elk Grove Police have released surveillance pictures of the suspect wanted in a robbery of a bank in Elk Grove.

On Monday, March 20,  at 3:29 p.m. an unknown suspect entered the US Bank at 9230 Elk Grove-Florin Road and gave a teller a threatening note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demands and the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency on foot and was last seen walking westbound into the parking lot.  

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male, approximately 30 years old, 5’9”, weighing approx. 200 lbs. The suspect was wearing a dark-colored beanie cap and had a mustache and full beard that were possibly fake and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored jeans. 

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent to EGPD via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
