Traffic Alert - Southbound Franklin Boulevard Closed for Roadway Repairs

Elk Grove Public Works crews have closed southbound Franklin Boulevard between Elk Grove Boulevard and Whitelock Parkway to perform emergency roadway repairs.

Pavement settling along approximately 75 feet of the number one and two southbound lanes, most likely the result of recent storms, has necessitated the closure. There is no estimated time of reopening. Northbound lanes will remain open.

Motorists are advised to use Bruceville Road as an alternative southbound route during the closure.
