An Elk Grove man was arrested after he allegedly tried attacking someone with a knife.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 6, Clinton Allen, 21, was reportedly in an argument with his victim on the 6700 block of Sao Tiago Way. At one point, Allen went inside his residence and retrieved a knife.

Allen approached the victim who was seated in a vehicle, allegedly raised the knife and lunged at the victim.  As the victim began to drive away, Allen reportedly began swinging the knife and struck the vehicle causing damage.

Allen was arrested by Elk Grove Police and booked into the county jail where he remains in custody on $60,000 bail and faces one felony and one misdemeanor charges. Arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, June 8.
