Evening Construction Delays in Elk Grove - Bruceville Road and Big Horn Blvd

July 31, 2017 |

The City of Elk Grove has issued a traffic advisory for the intersection of Bruceville Road and Big Horn Boulevard from July 31 through approximately October 13. The Elk Grove Public Works has contracted for pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction of the intersection that will affect evening traffic.

Primary work will take place at night between the 8 p.m and 7 a.m., however, some daytime work will be required. The roadway will remain open throughout the construction operations, but traffic controls will be in place during work hours.

Construction Activities: The first week will result in minimal delays as crews remove and replace sidewalk ramps. Nightly construction following the installation of the sidewalk ramps will consist of the asphalt removal and resurface of the roadway.

Completion: All work on the intersection is expected to be completed by October 13, 2017.

For questions or more information, please contact the city’s contractor, Eric Coker at Teichert Construction at 916-645-4892.
