Victim Injured in Early Morning Possible Drive-by Shooting in Elk Grove

In what has been a busy two days for Elk Grove Police, another shooting occurred in Elk Grove early this morning.

Information posted on Elk Grove Police's Twitter page at about 4 a.m. today says there was a shooting on the 8600 block of Blue Maiden Way. The male victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his lower backside torso.

The victim was shot by occupants Chevrolet Camaro described as black male adults. A home was also struck by bullets, residents not injured.
