Woman threatened with knife, robbed at Elk Grove park

A woman was robbed under threat of injury near an Elk Grove park.

At approximately 7:36 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 the female victim was walking on the footpath near Kunsting Family Park in the East Franklin neighborhood when two unknown men approached her. One of the two suspects brandished a knife and threatened injury unless she gave them her personal property. 

After complying with the demands, the duo fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect brandishing the knife was described at a Black or Hispanic male, 6’2”, 130 lbs., wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants. while the suspected accomplice was described as a Filipino male, 6’2”, 130 lbs., wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
