Hooded Intruder Enters Elk Grove Residence Through Unlocked Door, Steals Property

An Elk Grove residence was robbed by an intruder who entered through an unlocked door.  

Shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, the unknown suspect entered a residence on the 8500 block of Hawley Way on the city's north side. At the time of the intruders entrance, the resident was in another part of the dwelling and was not aware of the entry. 

As the suspect stole personal property, he was confronted by the resident and fled on foot. The suspect was described as a Black male adult, in his 20's wearing black hoodie and dark colored pants.
