Former Carmichael Youth Sports Coach Arrested on Child Molestation Charges

September 13, 2017 |

A man who was already in custody was arrested for alleged molestation of a child under 14-years of age.

On September 12, Jason David Foreman, 34, was arrested on 10 child molestation charges. The allegations against Foreman came following an investigation by Sacramento County Sheriff deputies.

According to the Sheriff's Department, an investigation was initiated after an acquaintance of Foreman reported that her juvenile daughter had disclosed that on several occasions she had been molested. Based on the results of that investigation, Foreman, who was reportedly a youth soccer and softball coach in the Carmichael area, was charged.

Foreman, who will be arraigned on Thursday, September 12 for these charges, was already in custody at the county jail after a September 2016 arrest for allegedly possession of child pornography. Detectives are concerned Foreman may have victimized other children and are encouraging anyone who believes he may have had inappropriate contact with their child to contact the Sheriff's Department.
