Probationer Arrested by Elk Grove Police, Allegedly Found With Brass Knuckles

A probationer was arrested after he was allegedly found with brass knuckles.

Just before 3 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, Elk Grove Police contacted Jason Brook Carter, 39, of Sacramento on the 9500 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road. Carter was operating a vehicle that was stopped after police received a call for service.

A records check revealed the Carter had an active arrest warrant, and a search the vehicle led to the discovery of brass knuckles. Carter is being held at the Sacramento County Jail and faces one felony and four misdemeanor charges.

The suspect is not eligible for bail and will be arraigned on Monday, September 25.
