During last night's Elk Grove town hall meeting on race relations, a new twist on the story that necessitated the series of meetings appeared.

The owner of the Old Town beauty salon that was the recipient of a hate message related a story involving another nearby business. Sharie Wilson, the owner of the beauty salon, recounted her encounter in the audio posted below.

Wilson stated that she had not intended to convey the story at the meeting. The comments were made near the conclusion of the session when another participant urged her to reveal the details of the event.
