Man With Outstanding Warrant Threatens to Shoot Car, Elk Grove Police Reportedly Find High Capacity Magazine

An Elk Grove is being held at the Sacramento County Jail for an outstanding arrest warrant from Alameda County.

Shortly before midnight on Saturday, October 7, Thomas Higgins, 21 was involved in a verbal argument with another person on the 8800 block of Tritonia Court. Higgins allegedly brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim's vehicle. 

After being contacted by Elk Grove Police, a search of the suspect's residence reportedly led to the discovery of a high capacity magazine. A records check also revealed Higgins had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Higgins is being held on a $25,000 bail for his Elk Grove charges and a $250,000 bail from the Oakland Police Department. Arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11.
