Three Suspected Drunk Drivers Arrested, One Led Elk Grove Police on Short Vehicle Pursuit

On Tuesday, December 5, Elk Grove Police arrested four suspects stemming from three drunk driving incidents.

The first arrest occurred late in the afternoon at AM/PM gas station on Sheldon Road and East Stockton Boulevard. Police responded to the area after receiving a call for service regarding Demetrius Bettiga, 26, of Concord, California.   

Upon contact Bettiga allegedly displayed signs of impairment and was arrested, booked into the county jail and released on bail.

In the day's second incident, police were led on a short vehicle pursuit. Police arrested Christopher Westfall, 35, of San Luis Obispo, California on the 9300 block of Bruceville Road.

Westfall allegedly fled after police received a call for service and tried pulling over the vehicle he was driving. A passenger in the vehicle, Corey Glenn, 35, of Albuquerque, New Mexico was also detained.

Also arrested on the 7200 block of Elk Grove Boulevard just before midnight on suspicion of impaired driving was Patrick Young, 36, of Elk Grove.
