Domestic Violence Suspects Arrested in Separate Incidents by Elk Grove Police

Over the three day period ending Sunday, April 8, Elk Grove Police arrested two men on suspicion of domestic violence.

On Saturday at 6:45 am police arrested Nghia Ly, 45, of Elk Grove, allegedly punched his victim on the side of the head, and when the victim tried to escape was prevented from leaving.

The victim sustained visible injuries and was granted an emergency protective order. Ly was booked into the county jail and released on bail.

The second incident occurred on Sunday at 10:20 p.m. when Pedro Gallego, 42, of Elk Grove punched his victim under the chin resulting in visible injuries.

Gallegos was arrested and is in custody at the county jail on a bail of $60,000 and arraignment on Tuesday, April 10. The victim was granted an emergency protective order.
