Man in Parked Car Robbed at Gunpoint in Early Afternoon Elk Grove Incident

A man who was sitting in his parked car was robbed at gunpoint by a trio of unknown suspects.

Just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, the victim was parked on the 5400 block of Laguna Boulevard when he was approached by an unknown male suspect who pointed a firearm, and demanded the victim's personal property. After the victim complied, the suspect ran to a waiting car and the victim followed, opened the door, and starting fighting with two accomplices of the robber. 

The victim was punched several times in the face by one of the accomplices resulting in visible injuries. After the altercation, the trio fled in their vehicle and were not located.

The gunman was described as an African American male, heavy set, approximately 6' 2", wearing light colored clothing. The vehicle was described as a older sedan.
