Pot House Raided, Elk Grove Police Arrest Suspected Grower

As part of their ongoing battle against illegal marijuana growing operations in the city, Elk Grove Police raided a suspected grow operation.

On Wednesday, May 23, the EGPD's street crimes unit served search warrants on a residence on the 6100 block of Belfield Circle in the North Laguna neighborhood. Detectives locate 180 plants, 27 pounds of processed marijuana and discovered the suspect operator, Autin Grant (picture above), 36, was stealing electricity. 

Grant was arrested and is being held at the county jail ineligible for release based on the seriousness of the charges. Arraignment is on Friday, May 25.
