Early results for the closely watched races for Sacramento County District Attorney and Sheriff show incumbents with an early advantage.

Incumbent DA Ann Marie Schubert leads challenger Deputy District Attorney Noah Phillips with 64,000 votes to Phillips' 34,000. 

Incumbent Sheriff Scott Jones, who is being challenged by three challenger has 54-percent of the total vote while his closest challenger, Milo Fitch has 20-percent, Donna Cox, 20-percent, and Brett Daniels 5-percent. If any candidate captures over 50-percent they will be declared the winner and there will be no run-off.
