Two suspects were arrested by Elk Grove Police after they were found in possession of several illegal items, including counterfeit money.

According to police reports, in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 3 a car being driven by Anthony Q. Adley, 47, of Sacramento was stopped near Elk Grove-Florin and Sheldon roads for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed the passenger in the car, Jose Isaac, 43, of Sacramento was on probation.

A probation search of the car led to the discovery of controlled substances, indicia indicative of narcotic sales and counterfeit money. Both men were arrested and booked into the county jail.

Adley is being held on three felony and two misdemeanor charges and is not eligible for release while Isaac has been released. Arraignment for Adley will be on Tuesday, June 5.
