Prostitution sting operation nets three Johns at Elk Grove hotel

A prostitution sting operation resulted in the arrest of three suspects at an Elk Grove hotel.

The operation, which was conducted by the Elk Grove Police Department's street crimes unit in association with a countywide operation by Sacramento County District Attorney's office, arrested three suspects at the Extended Stay America Hotel on Longport Court on the city's far west side. 

The suspects were arrested between 11:30 a.m and 7:27 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29. The suspects arrested were Jose Hernandez, 30, of Sacramento, Christopher Gilliland, 45, of Elk Grove, and Jintendra Lal, 43, of Sacramento. 

All three suspects have been released from custody after being booked at the Sacramento County Jail.
