Unknown suspect carjacks, threatens Elk Grove resident with knife

An unknown suspect committed a carjacking from an Elk Grove resident as he was unloading items from his parked vehicle.

The victim had parked his car in the garage and was unloading items on the 9600 block of Oakham Way at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim.

The victim gave the keys to the carjacker who fled in the vehicle. The suspect was described an African American male, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’2”, thin, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and had a bandana covering some of his face.
