Sacramento Police make arrest in September 2017 murder

A suspect already in custody at the Sacramento County Jail was charged yesterday in a September 28, 2017 murder.

Lakquan Damardeuwa Solomon, 26, was arrested for the September 28, 2017, murder on the 5100 block of Ehrhardt Avenue. In that incident, Sacramento Police responded to a call at 3 a.m. after receiving reports of hearing gunshots and finding the victim lying in the street.

Solomon has been in custody Since November 20, 2017 on weapons charge. Arraignment for the murder charges will be on Friday, March 1.
