Victim robbed, pistol whipped in Elk Grove after setting meeting from dating app



An unknown suspect pistol-whipped and robbed a suspect after setting a meeting from a dating app.

Just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, February 17 the suspect and victim scheduled a meeting on the 7200 block of Longport Court in the vicinity of two Elk Grove hotels. Upon meeting, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim.

After making the demands, the suspect hit the victim in the head with the gun, took the victim's phone, and forced the victim into a bathroom.

The suspect was described as an African American male, 30-35 years old, 5’6”-5’8”, 150-160 lbs., wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with a black shirt underneath and blue jeans.
