2 teens attempt mugging near Elk Grove's Franklin High School



Two teens suspect mugged and tried robbing two victim near an Elk Grove high school.

At 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, the two victims were walking on the pedestrian bridge near Elk Grove's Franklin High School in the city's East Franklin neighborhood when they were approached by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects, described as a Black male approximately 15 to 18 years old punched the victims and his accomplice demanded their property.

Both victims fled the area and did not relinquish their possessions. The suspect who committed the assault was described as 5'8" to 6' in height and' wearing a red sweatshirt and blue sweatpants while the accomplice was described as a Black male, 5'8' to 6' in height, wearing a dark colored hoodie and blue jeans.
