Probationers picked-up by Elk Grove Police for alleged possession of heroin, meth



Two probationers were taken into custody after they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics.

Elk Grove Police contacted Jason Buddy Juarez, 40, of Elk Grove in the early evening hours of Tuesday, April 30 on the 9700 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road during a service call. Records showed Juarez was on probation and a search led to the discovery of heroin.

Late that evening, officers contacted Nina Evette Young, 42, of Sacramento near Elk Grove and Franklin boulevards. After learning she was on probation, a search led to the discovery of  methamphetamine.

Juarez has been released and Young remains in custody and will be arraigned on Thursday, May  2.
