EGPD seeks help identifying skateboarding armed robber

Elk Grove Police have released a surveillance image of a man whose face was blocked by his skateboard suspected of robbing the AM/PM gas station convenience store on Harbour Point Drive.

Although details of the Monday, July 8 incident were not detailed, police are hoping that the image of the suspected robber's skateboard can help in identification. The robber is physically described as a white male adult, approximately 6’3 and 200 lbs and the image shows a pistol in the suspect's right hand.

Anyone with information regarding these cases is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Investigations Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
