Impaired driver suspect arrested by Elk Grove Police, charged with heroin sales

After receiving calls on a suspected impaired driver, Elk Grove Police arrested a probationer on additional narcotics distribution charges.

On the afternoon of Saturday, July 6, police located a parked vehicle on the 8400 block of Elk Grove Boulevard and contacted Michael Cox, 55, of Elk Grove. Cox displayed objective signs of impairment and failed a sobriety test.
