Juvenile suspect arrested by Elk Grove Police on robbery, conspiracy charges

One of two juvenile suspects who conspired to rob an indivdual was apprehended by Elk Grove Police.

On the evening of Monday, July 8, the victim was riding his bicycle near Sara and Sierra streets when he stopped to talk with the 15-year old suspect. The suspect placed the vicitm in a choke hold and stole the victim's bicycle.

An unknow accomplice, described as a 15-year old male wearing a blue/white shirt and white pants, stole the victim's backpack and fled on foot. Responding officers were able to identify the suspect and he was taken into custody at his residence.
