Eyewitness helps Elk Grove Police nab three vehicle burglary suspects



With the help of an eyewitness account, Elk Grove Police apprehended three Sacramento men suspected of burglarizing three vehicles.

Just before 3:30 pm. on Tuesday, July 30, officers responded to a witness' call regarding two vehicles that were burglarized on the 5500 block of Bellaterra Drive. The witness was able to provide a partial license plate number and vehicle description.

The suspect's car was located near the Elk Grove Auto Mall and was stopped. Officers reportedly found stolen items from the burglarized along the route their driven route and from a third burglarized car on the 9000 block of Bruceville Road was found inside their vehicle. 

The three suspects, Kevin Dawayne Davis, 19; Donald Louis Zackery, 20; and Nalon Rapier, 21. The suspects are held on $30,000 bail and will be arraigned on Thursday, August 1.
