After threatening family, Elk Grove man arrested following vehicle pursuit



An Elk Grove man is held at the Sacramento County Jail after threatening family members and leading police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle. 

On the evening of Sunday, August 11, Linh Nguyen, 36, alleged took a vehicle without permission after threatening family members. Responding Elk Grove Police officers located the suspect and attempted an enforcement stop.

Instead of stopping, Nguyen allegedly led a vehicle pursuit that ended near Elk Grove-Florin Road and Black Kite Drive. Nguyen's vehicle was disabled by unidentified means.

After a short foot pursuit, Nguyen was arrested. Nguyen's arraignment is on Tuesday, August 13 and is facing three felony charges.
