Juveniles who assaulted victim after attempted robbery of shoes for sale arrested by Elk Grove Police

Three juveniles are in custody after the alleged assault and attempted robbery of shoes they were supposedly trying to buy from their victim.

Just before 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 1 the three assailants, one 15-year old and two 16-year old males, arranged to meet the victim on the 6500 block of Laguna Park Drive. Upon meeting the victim, the trio of suspects started hitting the victim and tried to rob the shoes.  

All three suspects fled on foot without the shoes and were later located by Elk Grove Police officers. The victim was not injured and the three suspects were taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall.
