Weekend DUI, driver's license checkpoint being conducted by Elk Grove Police



As part of the ongoing effort to crack down on impaired driving, the Elk Grove Police has announced a DUI and driver license checkpoint.  

The sobriety checkpoint will be conducted on Friday, August 16 within Elk Grove city limited. The checkpoint, whose location was not disclosed, will start at 7 p.m. and will be conducted until 3 a.m. the next morning.

Funding for the sobriety checkpoint is provided through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
