Although Labor Day has to come to mean the traditional end of summer for most Americans, Maureen Craft says we should not forget the real meaning of the holiday.

Maureen Craft is an Elk Grove resident and 2020 candidate for the Elk Grove City Council District 3.

Nice to see Ms. Craft acknowledge workers and unions. As far as I can tell, the only member of the city council to acknowledge today's celebration is Mr. Ly.

The council's two other supposed Democratic members - Ms. Nguyen and Mr. Suen are MIA. Particularly ironic given the labor money that was used - wasted - in his efforts to unseat Mayor Ly.
