Police seek help identifying suspect who threatened Elk Grove retail employee with knife during shoplifting incident



Elk Grove Police released surveillance pictures of a man who allegedly threatened a retail employee with a knife.

On Saturday, September 7, the unidentified suspect pictured above was exiting through the garden section of the Home Depot store in Elk Grove with stolen merchandise when a store employee approached him. The brandished a knife and threatened the employee. 

After the employee withdrew, the male suspect exited the store with the merchandise and left in a silver 2003-2007 Honda Accord 2-door (pictured). Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Investigations Bureau at (916) 478-8117 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
