Suspect arrested by Elk Grove Police for robbery with BB gun

An Elk Grove man is held on bail of $175,000 after he was arrested for robbery.
Just before 5:30 a.m on Wednesday, September 4, Najiburahman Osman, 34, entered a dwelling on the 9700 block of Elk Tree Way. Osman reportedly knew the female victim in the residence and brandished a firearm that was later identified as a BB gun.
After the victim complied with demands for cash, Osman fled after another person inside the residence forced him out. Responding officers located Soman and recovered the BB gun near the residence.
Osman will be arraigned on Friday, September 6 .
