Two arrested, 500 marijuana plants seized by Elk Grove Police Streets Crime Unit



Two suspects were after Elk Grove Police seized over 500 marijuana plants after a search warrant was served on an alleged grow house.

On Friday, September 6 detectives from the Streets Crime Unit served a search warrant on the 5000 block of Percheron Drive in the East Franklin neighborhood. Inside the residence police discovered a marijuana cultivation operation with over 500 plants.

Qinjin Lin, 83, and Yizhu Chen, 75, both of Elk Grove were arrested, issued citations and released.
