Elk Grove Ice cream parlor robbed at gunpoint in late-night incident

As an Elk Grove ice cream parlor was closing, it was robbed by a gunman.

Just after 10 p.m. on Friday, October 25 an unknown suspect believed to be in his 20s entered the Baskin Robbins store on Elk Grove Florin and Calvine roads and brandished a firearm. The gunman demanded cast, and after store employees complied, he fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect was wearing dark-colored clothing and a bandana over his face and employees were unable to provide a more detailed description.
