Lodi Police arrests two on suspicion of drug sales after found sleeping in car

Two suspects were arrested on drug charges on the early morning of Friday, November 15 after being found asleep in a car.

Around 7 a.m, Lodi Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of 400 block of Arundel Court for a male and female who were found sleeping in a vehicle. The vehicle's occupants, William Nigro and Chelsie Berry were contacted and found to be in possession of a large number of illegal drugs.

Further investigation revealed packaging materials and a digital scale, indicative of sales. Nigro and Berry were arrested for drug sales related offenses and Nigro was also charged with giving false identification to a police officer.
