Council members urged to practice 'Deontology' by small business owner being sued by Elk Grove

Brian Erickson, co-owner of Big B Construction, spoke during the Wednesday, December 11 Elk Grove City Council meeting. Big B is being sued by Elk Grove over a construction dispute involving the new swimming pool at District56.
During his comments, Erickson told the council members until the litigation being pursued against his company and Anrtz Construction is settled, he will appear monthly before the city council to remind taxpayers of the city's business practices. Erickson also urged the five city council members to practice deontology.
Erickson says the additional construction costs that the city is trying to recover from Big B and Arntz are the result of flawed designed by Willdan, the city's biggest contractor. According to Erickson's comments, Big B is the result of flawed designs for the facilities at District56 by Willdan, the city's biggest contractor.
"It is Big B's intention to settle," Erickson said. A mediation conference between Big B and Elk Grove is scheduled for Friday, December 13.

Amazing that Jeff Werner can say that the reason for concrete failure is a design issue yet the city is suing Big B.
