UPDATED: Police seek to locate, arrest suspect identified in multiple package thefts


UPDATED 7:30 p.m. December 10 - The suspect has voluntarily turned himself in.  

A man suspected in numerous package thefts has been identified and a warrant issued for his arrest.

The Sacramento Police Department has identified Kevin Waterman (pictured below), 21, as a suspect responsible for numerous package thefts in the North Natomas neighborhood of Sacramento.  Waterman was identified from numerous surveillance videos. 

Waterman is known to operate a grey Ford Focus with black rims. The Sacramento Police Department encourages any witnesses with information regarding this suspect to contact the dispatch center at (916)264-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or submit an anonymous tip using the free “P3 Tips” smartphone app. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
