Two arrested by Elk Grove Police found in possession of 3 pounds of meth, unregistered gun


Late last month Elk Grove Police's Street Crime Unit concluded a narcotics sales investigation that led to the arrests of two suspects.

On Wednesday, May a search warrant was served on an apartment on the 10000 block of Willard Parkway. During the search, almost three pounds of methamphetamine, indicia related to narcotic sales, and an unregistered firearm. 

The suspect included Ricardo Angelo Sanchez, 27 who was arrested on narcotic sales, conspiracy, and several firearm charges and remains in custody at the county jail. The other suspect, Benny Jauregui-Valdez, 19 is charged with narcotic sales and conspiracy charges.
