Advisory issued by City of Elk Grove on tomorrow night's Independence Day firework show

This afternoon, the City of Elk Grove has released information regarding tomorrow night's firework display.
The firework show, which in the past was held at Elk Grove Regional Park as part of the community's Salute to the Red, White, and Blue, is being held even though that event has been canceled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The following information conveyed to residents in neighborhoods near the site of the previously undisclosed location said the following:

You are receiving this message because the City’s July 4th fireworks show has moved to a location near you.
The City’s professional fireworks display will begin on Saturday night at 9:40 p.m. It is scheduled to last approximately 20 minutes.
Temporary road closures will begin at 9:00 p.m. and will last for approximately one hour. Access in or out of the area will be limited during this time.
Laguna Boulevard, Bruceville Road, Laguna Springs Drive, and Whitelock Parkway will remain open.
This year’s sky concert will feature larger shells, higher displays, and greater visibility from neighborhoods throughout the city. State and county public health guidelines still prohibit large gatherings, so please celebrate in place with us.
We invite you to step outside, tune in to 93.7 The River for the fireworks soundtrack, or watch the live broadcast on ABC10 beginning at 9:30 p.m.

They canceled the public fireworks at the park because of COVID, yet for this secret 'non-public' event at District56 they are closing the nearby streets 40 minutes in advance?
Is this a subtle nod to come on out and watch the 'non-sanctioned' fireworks anyway? Maybe while they are at it, they can throw in a few foodtrucks and make a real shindig out of it! Politics rolled over the County Public Health Officer like a steamroller.
It’s not a fireworks show it’s a protest so therefore the County Health Officer must allow under 1st amendment rights. It also was Blessed by the Governor so full steam ahead. It seems the Mayor won’t be in attendance as he is tending to a personal matter.
