Search warrants served on alleged marijuana grow houses, EGPD's Street Crimes Unit seizes plants



The Elk Grove Police Department's Street Crimes Unit served two search warrants that led to the seizure of illegally grown marijuana plants.

At 7 a.m. on Monday, July 6, police officers served warrants on the 9200 block of Crowell Drive and the 103000 block of Beckley Way related to illegal marijuana growing operations. During the search, police discovered 176 plants.

The four suspects arrested Baisheng Li, 66; Yue Li, 65; Hongbin Li, 39; and Minyu Chen, 34. The suspects were issued citations and released.
