Elk Grove News Minute - What does Trump think of you?

Not surprisingly, Donald Trump has disrespected another group. This time it is not the disabled, Black Americans, Latinos, Asians, or women.

Fast forward, January 20, 2021:

"Cmon Mr. President, it's time to leave...us "losers" and "suckers" are here to escort you from the premises. The U-Haul is out front and waiting"

I CAN"T LEAVE! THE ELECTION WAS RIGGED!

"Time to go sir"

I CAN'T WALK ANY FASTER. I HAVE BONE SPURS.

"Corporal, please cuff him".

I CAN'T GO OUT THERE WITHOUT MY ORANGE MAKE-UP! PEOPLE WILL LAUGH AT ME!

"Sir, they started laughing at you 4 years ago...let's go"

Republican Elk Grove politicos ought to speak out against Mr. Trump's horrible comments. The first one should be Mr. Kevin Spease, given his veteran status and his honorable advocacy of veterans. The other would be Councilmember Mr. Patrick Hume, whose father gave his life in service to our country.

I truly cannot understand why anyone, much less 40% of Americans are supporting this man. It truly astounds me. Our country may never recover from all the bad this man has brought to us.I didn't vote for him, but I never once thought he'd be as bad as he is. This latest revelation about his comments about our military heroes tells everyone all they need to know about who this man is and what this man cares about.

I pray for this country.

President Bone Spur must have made those despicable comments to General John Kelly. Otherwise, why attack General Kelly the way he did after The Atlantic article was published? If 45 would disparage a four-star general and a Gold Star Father with those hateful words, he thinks nothing of his base.

And yes, the local Republicans, especially those who served, must denounce 45. Or as the saying goes, "Silence means consent!"

I agree with Capt. "Sully" Sullenberger, "Vote him out!"
