Search for missing elderly Elk Grove man expanded

The search for an at-risk elderly man who was reported missing last week was expanded over the weekend.
Last Monday the Elk Grove Police Department asked for the public's assistance in locating 78-year-old Kiflit Ghenremariam who was last seen in the vicinity of East Taron Drive in the Stonelake neighborhood. Since then, the search to locate has been expanded to locate Mr. Ghenremariam.
On Saturday, with the assistance of Sacramento County Search & Rescue, Yolo County Search & Rescue, & CA Rescue Dog Assoc. Elk Grove Police conducted another search of the area of Elk Grove Boulevard and East Taron Drive.
Police ask anyone who sees Mr. Ghenremariam to call 9-1-1.
