Moreno expands list of elected officials endorsements in race for BOS

In what is currently a two-person race to replace Don Nottoli on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, Jaclyn Moreno announced additional endorsements from elected officials.

Moreno announced today that two fellow Democratic elected officials, California State Senator Richard Pan and Cosumnes Community Services District Director, have endorsed her candidacy. Moreno is currently a Director with the Cosumnes Community Services District.

Nottoli has served as the District 5 Supervisor since 1994, and when he announced last year he would not be seeking reelection, Moreno entered the race. Also announcing their candidacy was Republican Elk Grove City Council member Pat Hume and former Elk Grove Mayor Gary Davis entered and exited the race.

Unless another candidate enters the race, Hume and Moreno will face off in the June primary. Should other candidates enter the race and no candidate wins more than 50-percent of the vote, the top two finishers will face off in the November general election.
