Rep. Bera to hold Service Academy information day

Rep. Ami Bera has announced his office will conduct an information workshop for students interested in learning about enrollment in the Service Academy's.

"Every year, I'm privileged to nominate bright and hardworking students to attend our nation's military and service academies," Bera said in the announcement for the session. "Our service academies are some of the top universities in the country and help build strong leaders in our military and beyond."

The October 2 virtual event is open to all high school students interested in applying to a service academy as well as their parents, teachers, and guidance counselors. More information about the Service Academy Nomination process and its requirements is available here. 
As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Bera can nominate up to ten students every year to each of the five service academies.
