Uplift People of Elk Grove holding drive-thru Harvest Dinner

An Elk Grove-based charitable group is hold a drive-dinner fundraiser to help fund its activities for impoverished individuals.

UpLift People will hold their event on Saturday, November 14. The meal will be distributed at Elk Grove Methodist Church located at 8986 Elk Grove Blvd. between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

For an additional fee, the contactless doorstep will be available. You can also donate a meal that will be provided to a person or family in need.

The meal, which feeds four, includes the following:

~ Chicken Piccata in a white wine, lemon and caper sauce

~ Mixed  green salad with Italian dressing

~ Rice pilaf laced with saffron

~ Steamed petite carrots with olive oil, dill, salt and pepper

~ Fresh rolls

~ Dessert
