Police officers' End of Watch holding Chili Cook-off, Car Show this weekend

The End of Watch organization is holding their second annual Chili Cook-off and Car Show at Elk Grove Regional Park on Saturday, September 3.

Admission to the car show and chili cook-off is free. Tasting kits to sample the chili sample is available for purchase.

The event opens at 10 a.m., and tastings will be available at noon. The event runs until 5 p.m.

Given the forecasted heat, the EOW organizers noted that along with the shaded area at the park, misting areas will be provided. An assortment of soft beverages, beer, and shaved iced will be available for purchase.

Organized by Elk Grove Police officers, the EOW assists families of fallen officers and offers outreach programs.
