On Saturday, November 19, California Assemblymember Jim Cooper, in association with Asian Resources Inc. and Sacramento Unified School District, will hold his 8th annual turkey giveaway. Approximately 3,000 frozen turkeys will be distributed. 

This year’s turkey giveaway is a drive-thru-only event featuring will include healthcare resources.

 

“This is our eighth year giving out free turkeys to the community because we believe no family should go without a healthy meal on Thanksgiving,” Cooper said “This year is no different; families are in need, and people are struggling to make ends meet. We will be giving away over 3,000 free turkeys on Saturday morning.”

 

Attendees must stay in their vehicles. Gates will not open until 9 am.  

 

When:

Saturday, November 19, 2022 9 a.m. – Until supplies last                                                                                                                             

Where:

Luther Burbank High School 

3500 Florin Rd., Sacramento, CA 95823

The only entrance is via Luther Drive
