City Council to consider Elk Grove Planning Commission vacancy at next meeting

As the Elk Grove City Council convenes its first meeting of 2023, it will consider several applicants to fill a vacancy on the Elk Grove Planning Commission.

That vacancy was created with the election of former Planning Commissioner Sergio Robles to the District 4 seat of the Elk Grove City Council. Former Elk Grove Mayor Steve Ly nominated Robles in 2020.

Eight applications were received for the vacancy. Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen will make her nomination, and her four city council members are expected to approve her selection.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 11, at 6 p.m. The names of the applicants are listed below.
